State Leadership Conference

The 2026 Illinois FBLA Collegiate State Leadership Conference will be held on February 27-28, 2026 at Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois.More details will be updated soon.

Important Reminders:
* Hotel accommodations will be handled and invoiced through conference registration in Blue Panda.
* Students may compete in up to five events (three performance events maximum - two solo/team and one chapter).
* Conference attire is business professional.
* Competitive event changes will not be allowed on or after registration closes.
* Registration for students and advisers is $$ per attendee (first adviser per chapter free).

    National Conferences

    Nationals hosts two main conferences each year. This year, all divisions will be at the conference at the same time.The National Fall Leadership Conference (NFLC) will be held in Washington, D.C. on November 5-7.The National Leadership Conference (NLC) will be held in Columbus, Ohio on June 23-26.

    Who We Are & What We Do

    Illinois FBLA Collegiate is led by a Board of Directors and a State Officer Team. The Board of Directors is comprised of professionals and serves as the governing body of the organization. The State Officer Team is a team of student members annually elected by their peers to represent and serve the state membership.

    Gabriella Curtner

    State President

    Gabriella has been an active FBLA member for three years, serving as Kaskaskia College Vice President her first year, Kaskaskia College President her second year, and State President this year. Her main goal is to connect members from every chapter to become a unified state.


    Alberto Sepulveda

    State Vice President of Membership

    Alberto has been an active FBLA member for two years, this year serving as the state Vice President of Membership. His main goal is to raise FBLA's visibility across the state and grow membership by connecting more students to everything we have to offer.


    Maddie Wood

    State Vice President of Communications

    Maddie has been an active FBLA member for three years, serving as Civic Memorial High School President her first year, her college chapter’s VP of Marketing her second year, and now as the collegiate state Vice President of Communications. Her main goal is to have a more active social media presence and to use FBLA’s pages to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

    State officers are elected annually at the State Leadership Conference. The Board of Directors elects new members on a rotating basis with positions varying from one-year to three-year terms.
